Anyone has experience with Elastio
-
I'm still not sure weither I want to go for NodeBB or Discourse. Coming from building with Wordpress and PHP software it all feels far out of my league. But just the other day I found Elastio which seemingly makes installing as easy as I'm used to with PHP applications.
Just wondering does anyone has experience with Elastio? We just started a very small community about snowboarding, wanting to add a forum and comment option to our Wordpress site. So our budget is very tight. Elastio recommends quite a high "tier" for productions sites, which makes me wonder is this actually necessary or can I do with their "recommended for testing enviroments" tier?
Also happy to know if there are any other easy options available. I do like the "managed" part, so I don't need to be busy keeping NodeJS up-to-date or something like that.

@Wilco I will say with certainty that NodeBB prioritizes speed and efficiency more than Discourse. Part of that is the technology stack, but the other part is @baris who mostly single-handedly keeps NodeBB from bloating.
So you can likely host NodeBB on fairly minimal hardware. Give that low tier on elastio a try and see how far it gets you!
