According to this Reddit thread, Kicooya MP3 for Playdate might have some annoying limitations. Most notably, MP3s need to have a bitrate of 128kbps with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz. There are also some limitations if your file names have a "." in them. It doesn't seem to be hard on battery life though, and that UI looks sweet.
