@[email protected] like, I just watched the episode where the rogue Qowat Milat character was chasing her lost cause.
Cue typical "ends justify the means" excuse of "I couldn't ask because you'd say no"
... but of course setting aside the fact that her lost cause was resolved by Burnham (of course, the fixer of all problems) mucking about at a console for 5 minutes... You know, a technical solution to a problem which is the most Trekkian thing and exactly the type of thing Starfleet is about.
But no, let's play robin hood with dilithium.
I often joke that the writers of Disco are writing fan fiction. It's not too far off though.
