Obama controlled the Department of Justice for 8 years and filed 0 anti-trust suits for "too big to fail" and prosecuted 1 small fry industry middle manager for "we're going to go after the people who caused the financial crisis". The big banks are still there, and Biden hasn't gone after them either.

Obama campaigned on protecting whistleblowers and then treated Snowden like a traitor.

Biden was the biggest Democrat cheerleader for the unjustified invasion of Iraq.

The GOP didn't make Obama order 563 drone strikes during his Presidency.

The GOP didn't make Hillary Clinton orchestrate the coup in Libya.

The Democrats overwhelmingly support our military budget every year.

Biden and the Democrats could have stopped the military aid to Israel at any time.

I am *profoundly* grateful for the Affordable Care Act, and the anti-trust lawsuits filed under Biden, and the appointment of judges that respect the humanity of people that aren't white cis heterosexual Christian men, and the legalization of marijuana.

But the big picture is that the Democrats are still in Wall Street's pocket, still bloodthirsty warmongers.

This needs to be tagged with #Palestine, #Gaza, #Islamophobia, and #GenocideJoe, because it is exactly what I keep saying the people in those conversations need to keep in mind.

We have a candidate, otherwise pretty good, who has this one policy position that a lot of us are finding indefensible. I don't like defending it myself, but we go to war with the army we have. I see a lot of resentment coming from the Arab and Islamic communities, but also a lot of begrudging support simply because this is not a normal election: people who throw away this chance to stop fascism in the US are going to regret it for the rest of their lives.

Under Kamala Harris, we are not likely to get the swift action that we want, but under Donald Trump? If he gets elected the Palestinians will be dead before the midterm, assuming we even get to have another midterm.

The idea that Jill Stein is anti-genocide is insane. She has a running mate who is in favor of the genocide of israelis. In order to be against genocide, you have to be against all genocide, not just in favor of trading one particular genocide for another.

She's not anti-genocide, she's just anti-israeli. That's not the same thing.

So this then becomes the crux of the decision. You have to believe that neither candidate will make a difference to the people you are supporting. It should be clear that Netanyahu, at least, thinks very differently. Also, as shown above, Trump has told him he will be free to "do whatever he wants" whereas Harris has been telegraphing a much different message. It seems like holding to the position they are both the same is very difficult given what we know about these two people.

That is, of course, up to you to decide, but it seems like a very difficult argument to sustain given the respective public positions. On the one hand Trump is saying to Netanyahu he will permit him do anything he wants. On the other Harris is saying she will do everything she can to end the war. The difference in indeed significant.

Seems like you need to believe that she lacks all sincerity to conclude they are both the same.

At the end of the day, there are things we can get and things we can't get. That is a problem with the two-party system, which I think we can get rid of within the next decade or so if we can just elect Kamala Harris this time. The choice is between more genocide, on top of all the other horrible things Trump and his allies are promising to do, and a path to peace, on top of all the other positive things that Harris offers.

Once again, the difference is night and day.

People cannot be sitting this election out.
