The comic is about womenβs reproductive rights and how righties want to take that away from them. The woman is suggesting the same be done to men, using the tools she mentions, with turpentine being the disinfectant.

Science points to a foetus being a life
No, science absolutely does not point to a fetus being "a life"
Biological, Physical and Chemical science isn't the answer to everything.
True, but when you clearly don't understand them at all (as you proved with your laughable statement in that very comment) then you also don't have the answer, as they're relevant to the discussion

You ever heard of the snip? Because that's what I think they're hinting at.

Theyβre for removing male reproductive organs.

Ok I think I get the idea... But even with me, who is definitely not well endowed, metal shears would take quite the effort. Giving me more of an opportunity to attempt to hinder the impromptu castration.... Wait are we talking taking of the ball sack? Still, box cutters would be more efficient.

I'm saying that red tape and bans gets in the way of that happening for that specific scenario. By your morals, I hold the, "Let 100 guilty people go free before jailing one innocient" stance, also I'm not ok with the government being in charge of deciding when that is appropriate. Thank you for actually treating this like a discussion. I feel like it's important to have.

Youβd need to talk to the creator of the comic for more clarification, I can only present what I see.

So foetus don't have cells, then?
-
lovablesidekick@lemmy.worldreplied to holyginz@lemmy.world 7 days ago last edited by
Or tinships? My only guess is castration and cauterizing the wound, but that's an extreme shot in the dark.

Pretty sure that's what it was referring to based on another comment. Also it being used to burn down buildings.

Not for this comic it isn't.

It's okay if they're treading on other people. The Thin Blue Line folks will 100% attack cops if they stood in their way. (See Jan. 6th)

Lmao this was the same artist who made a full page comic panel telling people to suck it up and vote Harris without demanding changes or improvements for another 4 years, assuming she actually won.
Liberals don't do jack when it comes to outrageous actions, they won't ever move past protests.
Even the recent shooter wasn't some longtime liberal or even a leftist. He was just some dude who was fed up and likely suffered various mental pain which is why they caught him with all the possible incriminating evidence they needed. He had no true intention of slipping away, he somehow convinced himself that what he did would give him enough public support for change (regardless of whether or not that will actually happen).

fetus, it's weird that you insist on the incorrect spelling
Something having cells does not make it "a life", or else cancer cells are equally as alive as you and I and also can't be removed without that being murder

It used to be a thing for all libertarians not just the right wingers claiming to be them and eventually the conservatives and fascists. Nowadays left libertarians tread where we please.

It was a pretty crude way to castrate. It was done that way a few hundred years back. I've heard that expression before. The first time was when I was really young. The tin snips were very sharp the and the turpentine sealed the wound by chemically burning the flesh. I'm pretty sure its what they did to some pigs when I was very young. I know the pigs made a lot of noise.

Well I'm not expert - the only thing I've ever read about castrating pigs was in some novel in high school where a guy's job was to tie the testicles off with string or twine and presumably after a while they fell off. Seemed pretty cringey to us all at the time.

Ah, typical yankee scum. Always thinking they are the world police, white supremacists thinking they control morality. Coming up with cruel ideologies like "let's murder unborn children" "Let's have school shootings" "let's make people pay for healthcare." "Let's invade other countries". "Let's fund mass terror campaigns against people we disagree with". Have you seen your clown election? Seems you're even trying to get rid of free school meals. You lot are always expecting the world to think and act in accordance with your ways. Even down to trying to force your own system of spelling on us.
Anyway, cancer cells are a life. But we know it's not a human life. A human doesn't die whenever they are removed either, in fact, a human life is typically prolonged when they're removed.
