The bitter irony in the current GOP infighting over whether Americans are competent enough to become tech workers is that numerous LGBT tech people who are frantically emigrating over hate were committing time to train people to get those jobs, often for free. My best friend wrote a whole book.

So basically, they didn’t listen to us warning about Elon, they didn’t listen to us warning about the economic reality, they made fun of college education, and then they drove away a bunch of people who wanted to make tech jobs accessible to all Americans.
