Documents upload

    Hi there,

    I've been trying the nodebb-plugin-composer-default in conjunction with nodebb-plugin-editor-plus to see if I can upload documents (not images, but pdf's, for example) but I haven't been lucky. I can't even upload images with them, so I've changed to nodebb-plugin-composer-redactor instead. With it I can upload images but not documents, and I was wondering if there is any plugin that allows document uploads?

    Hello, I am using redactor and regular file uploads are working. Do you have Allow users to upload regular files. checked under Settings => Uploads in the ACP?

    @yariplus Thanks so much, I had the permissions allowed in the categories but not in the uploads 😅 😅 😅

    Finally getting back around to testing this, still not having much luck. After digging through a lot of the code, and reading through the unit tests for the /api/post/upload endpoint, a user is logged in first.

    I have been trying to do this with only an API token, as this process is loading data from another system. I really don't want to have to store a password in addition to an API token when doing my data load.

    I guess my next question is: Is /api/post/upload even usable without logging in with a username/password?

    I can't imagine it would... OS upgrades usually are a little suspect, it's usually easier to just start fresh and migrate NodeBB back onto it, although I definitely get why an OS upgrade would be preferable in some setups.

    You can avoid the upload step by copying the images directly to nodebb/public/uploads/migrated and then embedding them like

    Remove Picture icon in composer without removing the Upload Image icon

    Hi. How would I go about removing the picture icon (red) without removing the upload image icon (blue)? I'm guessing CSS, but what exactly would I target with display: none;?
