Please, if you modify a Spanish Language, be sure if its correct.
Because someone made changes and are bad.

    Thats all.

Hey Pablo -- this might be due to a recent pull request that I have merged. I was unaware that there were such significant regional differences between Argentinian Spanish and Traditional Spanish. If this is a continuing issue, perhaps it may be easier to fork Spanish into two dialects, es_ES, and es_AR.

@julian Publicaciones and Posts are the same thing.

@pablo-macaluso I'm not familiar with Spanish at all! You'll have to let me know the course of action to take, whether to split Spanish into two languages (one for Argentinian Spanish) or not...

I translate to Neutral Spanish, not Argentinian.

Very well, then it seems to be just a difference of opinion. Besides "publicaciones", is there anything else you find incorrect?

my 2 cents.... it would be better to have es_AR and es_ES translation..

its already default on the internet ..(just look for locale configs..).. same as pt_BR and pt_PT

If there is demand for it, that's the problem... if we split the language up, it is essentially twice the work, and one dialect may fall behind.

I made some of that changes because i thought that the translation was incomplete because it contained untranslated word and others with spelling, like "leeidos" or lack of accents.
IMHO, I think that the translation should be the most complete possible, if the words have a "official" translation.

If somehow I'm notified about new translatable string, I'll look at it when I have time. And if it were more translators for discussion, it will be better.

Thanks for dropping in @alejandro-del-rincón-lópez 🙂

@pablo-macaluso says he's translating to traditional Spanish, so I believe we're on the same page -- just a minor difference in opinion regarding the word "posts" vs "publicaciones". Let me check what words other forums use...

    Edit: Other forums:

    • phpBB uses "mensajes"
    • vBulletin uses "posts"
    • Xenforo Español translation costs five euros (what?!!)
    • Discourse uses "publicación"

I think that the translation isn't incorrect, @pablo-macaluso says that the untraslated word is more popular maybe.

Understood -- if no other objections, it is just down to personal preference, so I'll let the two of you decide.

As for Transifex notifications, if you join the Spanish Translation Team, you should get emailed whenever new strings need to be translated. 🙂
