V1.1.0 installed on an Arch Linux server. What would cause the footer (Copyright 2016 NodeBB ) to not show up?
There is no footer enabled by default. You can set up one within ACP -> Extend -> Widgets; Add an entity to the Global Footer section.
Some examples can be found here.
@frissdiegurke actually the NodeBB copyright is enabled by default on a new install.
@evoixmr when you switch a theme... all widgets are moved to the draft zone. Check ACP -> Extend -> Widgets and look for it in the draft zone. If it's there, then move it to the footer.
What exactly am I looking or moving? I do not see footer on the widget.
Which widget do I need to move go get the copyright on the bottom?
@evoixmr do you see anything in this section when you fo to ACP -> Extend -> Widgets?
@pichalite yes but nothing about footer?
@dogs Thank you very much - that worked!
Try it in a computer.
@PitaJ Could you give a detailed explanation? I didn't see any users data in the mongodb. Also how do i restore it in a new openshift app?
@baris Holy shit it actually worked but I dont see it in the console.log?
Just ran into this issue with a fresh nodebb install. I didn't have python setup correctly.
Made sure python 2.7 (not 3.x) is setup and the python command works. Then npm install again. Fixed it for me.
