Receive error when uploading favicon image

When uploading a PNG file (64x64) (10.7KB) to the Favicon property (settings/general#favicon), I receive the following error message:

Invalid image type. Allowed types are: image/x-icon, image/vnd.microsoft.icon

Any thoughts? Thanks! Running NodeBB v0.9.0

EDIT: I guess it wants an .ico file but the help text says "You may only upload PNG, JPG, or BMP files ()"
