Page loading hangs (with spinning load indicator)

    I have a new install of NodeBB on Ubuntu with Redis and Nginx. A few users (myself included) notice that occasionally a page hangs when loading, just showing the top navigation bar and a spinning loading indicator. A reload of the page fixes the issue.

    Anyone had this same problem? Any hints on what to look at?

    You can check your browser's console and network tab for any failed requests. Also check the server logs for any errors.

    I noticed that custom pages no longer work. I see the following records in the error logs. I uninstalled and reinstalled the nodebb-custom-pages plugin. I've done several reboots and builds but it didn't work. Why might the problem be caused?
    my NodeBB version: 2.2.5
    custom pages version: 1.3.3

    Only 10 pages of "recent" topics available

    Hi.

    The page Recent at a forum which uses NodeBB shows only 10 pages of "recent" topics.
    When I am at the 10th page, the ">" sign at the bottom of the page isn't clickable (has no link).

    I even tried to manually go to the next page by means of typing https://thedomain/forum/recent?page=11, but it returns

    There are no recent topics.

    I want to be able to read older topics because I'm trying to catch up (during a few last months I've been reading that forum quite rarely).

    Is it possible for the forum admin to enable showing all previous topics on the Recent page?

    @PitaJ Found a syntax error after looking carefully at the server side code, thanks for pointing out the problem is at server side...thought I copy pasted it! Thanks again! 😄

    Login Page (Almost ) Blank - Can't Login

    My login page is (almost) entirely blank on my production server but works ok on dev and staging (heroku). I can see the home page and I can create an account and see the profile page, but I cannot login to an existing account:

    There are no javascript errors in the browser and no errors in the server side log:

    Custom pages break

    @Fez-Vrasta Hey

    It sounds like you may be misunderstanding what the custom-pages plugin does. (I assume that's the one you are using.)

    You should not be creating a page for it route too. You are meant to add HTML widgets to the page on the Widgets panel. Then whenever you restart, it compiles that page for you.
