Quick question on Email setup..

I noticed in settings for email, this little line.
Please ensure that you have installed a third-party emailer (e.g. PostageApp, Mailgun, Mandrill, SendGrid, etc), otherwise emails will not be sent by NodeBB

Looks as though they all charge money for sending email. What if, like myself I have my own mail services hosted on my machine for both inbound and outbound mail management? Do I still have to utilize one of those tools, or can I route via local SMTP?

@kelso - as @frissdiegurke mentions, the local plugin would work. Also, all of the other plugins are free up to a certain point, and for small sites, you'll almost never hit those limits

Thanks guys! As mentioned, I just dove into this on a whim after reading about new community solutions. I'm impressed with the new technology and can't wait to play with it some more.
