How to translate a theme? - Need help

I need to create a french website with NodeBB, I ude lavender theme but I have to translate it to french. In template I find something like this: title="[[global:topics]]"
Where to find the value of variables like : global:topics to change them all ?

@kacemlight French translations are already available in NodeBB. Just switch the language in ACP.

Oh thanks. the web site was in french but the user in english. How to make franch as the all users default language.

@kacemlight Setting the language to French in ACP should make it the default language for new users but it doesn't override existing users language preference.
