How to enable recent topics? (Persona)

Sorry, but I can not figure out where to enable recent topics like on the screenshot:

Do you know where or how to translate "Recent topics"? I need this string in some other language.

@prog I'm not actually sure the best way to do it, but you could try overriding the template? There will be people here on the forum who might know of a better way?
