    When I run circled command , above error occurred

    Now this error is coming
    configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs.
    If you meant to cross compile,
    use --host.

    Ahh, thanks. Okay, that makes sense now. It sounds like it's failing because of the special port. Since that port is sending directly to NodeBB and not through the Apache proxy, NodeBB does not know the SSL key, so it will fail the connection.

    I think there used to be a way to feed the SSL Key path to NodeBB in config.json, but I don't see any docs on it anymore, and I'm not even sure if that would work.

    I think your best bet is to try getting websockets to work through Apache2, there seems to be several methods even though there's no official support.

    @MagicVish No, no. For the field Which database to use do not enter redis but enter 0. You already chose redis earlier in the setup. This field instructs NodeBB which redis database to populate and use. The databases start at 0 and increase incrementally. If this is your first and only redis database 0 is the answer.

    First of all your NGINX config is incorrect. You want to access the forum under /community, but are using /forum in it.
    This is a simplified version of my NGINX config:

    I was able to make it work with /forum; no ^~ required. Given what @yariplus stated this seems relevant.
    My conf:

    Indented lines are ones that I copied from my other blocks that weren't present in the suggested.
