  • MongoDB over Redis?

Every now and then when I browse the forum I see that most people are using MongoDB instead of Redis.
However, as Redis is faster (at least from what I have heard) I wonder why the majority is going for Mongo?

    Is there any benefit?

I am well aware that Redis needs RAM, however as of now prices for RAM are hilariously low compared to a year or two ago.

@baris thanks I'll pull it tomorrow from git and fix the categories as you've said. It's not a big problem, more an oddity that occurred - thank you. And I really should raise bugs like this on GitHub!

@julian It seemed pretty straight forward in my mind is the worst part.

Yup, I want this server to be this other server's pathetic little slave and take orders all day...Wha?.....It's rebelling!
It's hard to beat the incorrect logic of something you know absolutely should work as you're telling it to.
