Present on my forum using an S3 plugin, and present on this forum too.

To recreate:
- On mobile device select a post to reply to
- Click the landscape picture icon (to upload)
- Select either 'Camera' or Documents
- Take a picture and select OK, or select one from documents
Expected Result:
Image uploads with progress text, on completion the preview is updated.

Actual Result:
Nothing happens, no console log information

@BDHarrington7 Correct. At current, we do not associate uploaded files with a particular user, although there should be plugin hooks in place that will allow third-party plugins to maintain this association (for expiry purposes, etc).

Though, I checked now.

I can create 1 million files in a directory on my Ubuntu box with the ext4 file system.

So, it should work with the current configuration.

@baris Guess that should have been the obvious, and yeah, we had some code that would auto generate a background for users. Disabling that did fix it. I really appreciate the help, feel kind of stupid now lol. Besides that being fixed now we still have an ongoing issue with plugins not working like emoji's, shoutbox, and so on. And words of advice on that?
