@netzpolitik_feed If this really happens, it's a desaster and that includes them as well. The #foss ecosystem is more like mycelium, and individual large projects are the visible mushrooms. Tending one or two mushrooms (this is where the analogy goes out the window) nurtures a whole cluster of interwoven smaller parts, that are reused across many projects. If they want more FOSS in their orgs (#publicmoneypubliccode ) this hurts them too. But bean counters can't think that way.
