You could try to check it out into the "node_modules" directory and then activate it in the admin-interface.
Just curious about a question. I am using the Custom Pages Plugin and see there is an area for custom css classes. I could be wrong, but I think that applies to the Link in the header. My question is that I don't want the link to display in the header. Adding display: none doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas? Thanks!

You might try using
display: none!important; in your custom css before you submit to the jQuery @Justin
