@julian for what its worth, it starts working seconds after I REFRESH the page.

Maybe clear your cache first and see if it's working then.

ya, I've seen such issues some times before on this board. socket.io has a fallback to other methods that work, but to initiate the fallback it needs some time...

@frissdiegurke Thanks, I tried following the commands in the last post but that did me no good. I also tried this http://stackoverflow.com/a/20720259 but it still has that 10+ second delay.
