I'm launching my nutrition forum next Tuesday, and have a couple questions for existing admins.

Have users had any major complaints?

Any big technical hiccups you had upon launch? I'll be on a cruise for a few days the week after launch, and am not sure if I should wait.

Is there a way to update all plugins at once?

Is anyone else still having some lingering hovercards from @Schamper 's plugin? It might just be me, unless it somehow reverted from the updated version.

@zenkamal I think you're running an old school version of nodebb, have a look at the topic "some feedback from the lovely folk of my forum" for their opinions.
Nothing major on launch for me, apart from resetting email addresses for users after transfer. I don't mind going on the cruise for you though if you want to stay home and keep an eye on the forum.

You should have @a_5mith as your deputy forum admin while you're away
... as long as it doesn't interfere with his good work here of course

I don't mind going on the cruise for you though if you want to stay home and keep an eye on the forum.

Okay, it's decided.
I'll stay home and keep an eye on the forum -- @a_5mith will bunk with @psychobunny on a glamorous discount cruise to Mexico.
Starting afresh with this forum. PUMPED! I purposely didn't update my nodebb recently because of some weirdness during the last update...but I should probably just suck it up.
Hopefully I'll get enough users to give feedback, and add to the lovely folk feedback topic.

The only major issue we had was not backing up the database. We lost out on a few threads and posts because i didnt have a recent enough backup.
Now i have a script that does a backup every day, week and month.@Schamper fixed his cards plugin and it should leave anything on screen anymore.
