Someone please tell me where I should live in Melbourne if I transfer there, because thinking about starting a new life there if all my work has been for nothing is the only thing keeping me out of the hospital right now.

I found a queer martial arts place and I am staring at student apartment photos.
Where do you stow your bicycles?

@hacks4pancakes Inner north is where a bunch of the cool alternative folks hang out. What sort of spaces are you looking for? Inner-suburban, or somewhere with a little more space? My initial inclination is to suggest somewhere along the Upfield (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/17544925) or Mernda (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/14024885) train lines, or route 1 (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/5892806), 19 (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/6434289) or 86 (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/6386783) tram lines.
(I'm a Craigieburn line / roue 59 Tram person myself, but close enough to the above and my folks that it works well for me) -
@hacks4pancakes More specifically, echoing support for Brunswick and surrounds; expensive and on the busier side, but cool, queer, and full of cyclists. Many apartment buildings have bicycle racks as part of their secure underground parking.

@hacks4pancakes Melbourne will be your city. It'll love you.
You can get a place near the tram/train lines (there are many and it's regular).
There is plenty of places to find your home... but make friends with the 86 tram :thelook:
