@dansup, what's the future of #reblogs in #pixelfed?

There have been some bugs and missing features, and today @trwnh closed two bug reports concerning reblogs as "not planned". Will @pixelfed continue to support reblogs? Because without, it's kind of useless to me.

Reblogs aren't going anywhere, in fact I'm working on a new feed specifically for them, in addition to them optionally appearing in your home feed.

@weddige @dansup @pixelfed probably the issues were duplicates or invalid, github shows “not planned” even when you close as stale

@[email protected] aside: I really hate that GitHub forced that little UX change on me.

It's not like I gave one iota of thought about which issues are "closed as completed" vs "not planned", but now they're making me choose when I just want to literally close out the issue.

It stinks of metrics gathering for a GitHub beancounter.

... except there's no guarantee either about whether the closed state was correct, so it's not even that reliable of a metric.
