Arrows don't work?

First of all, excellent new scrolling arrows up there!
Second of all, the single arrows appear not to work at times. Like if you use the scroll-to-end (double) arrow and then try to use the single arrows, they end up duplicating what the double arrows do and going all the way to the top or bottom of the replies.
I can only reproduce about half the time. Try it on the FIFA thread.

When I go the FIFA thread, if I...
- Double arrow down to the bottom and then
- Single arrow my way back up a few times
It sometimes goes up all the way rather than up by twenty posts.

Perhaps a minority opinion here (well...we are all minorities after all
) , but I really liked the single button behavior yesterday moreso than today.Yesterday it usually went up or down twenty posts at a time, now it goes up 2-3 posts or whatever pageup/down does.
The double arrows are super functional, but I can't imagine a use-case for the single arrow buttons as they stand. If they went down like 10% or 20% of the total replies with each press, that would help to navigate longer threads.
Whattya think? Regular scroll == incremental navigation, single arrow == navigate in large chunks, double arrow == navigate to end or beginning.
