Blocking chinese spam
-
I struggle with a lot of Chinese spam, sometimes over 100 posts a day, very often they register with hotmail.com or outlook.com e-mail addresses. The IP addresses are always different.
I'm using hCaptcha on registration, but I've also tried Google Re-Captcha with the same result.
The forum is English-only. Have anyone else seen this, or have any idea how to stop it?
The posts typically look like this: -
Just some insights here: Our gaming forum was constantly flooded with shady lottery profiles and other ads.
Even though registration went through a separate self-developed non-standard registration and login was done via OAuth. The conclusion is: It is not always bot-spam. There are clickworkers behind this and they will continue and breach all Captchas that exist there unless you bind the registration to some kind of unique id (in our case a SteamID).

@jonaski as @phenomlab suggested, the most thorough solution is to use the post queue.
They will only usually post once, realize it didn't get published immediately, and give up. It'll happen again and again and again, but at least it'll all be filtered out for review.
You can then reject all of the posts all at once, which is also very highly satisfying.
