How do I donate? And, Thanks!
-
I've been using this for several years now and love it.
There's always someone in the forums that will help when problems come up.
I too run some services on the net and very much believe in paying attention to free users as well as customers because the goodwill can go a long way.
First I wanted to say I really appreciate nodebb. It's been a very usable solution for us after trying a few others that didn't work out.
Second, how can I contribute to the project, I looked and could not find a donation option anywhere.

@NodeHam First of all, you can always contribute with code, it will only help the nodebb organization, but also all community users, you can develop plugins, translate, etc... there is no shortage of things.
Regarding a monetary donation, I don't know, but you can ask @baris @Administrators for the organization's bank account... -
@NodeHam we do have a paypal account so I created a donation page for that, https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=CQCTVLYR9EP6U
I had a chat with @julian and we want to look into github sponsors and/or open collective as well. Would be nice if there was a special group on this forum that users get automatically added if they become a github sponsor.

I sure don't want to give them a single dime :).
The amount goes in full to the user, Github does not charge a fee

Ok, hopefully, you'll remember to add me to that list. Mostly, I just wanted to show appreciation for all the hard work and to give feedback/ideas when ever possible.
Offering my own SaaS, I know how frustrating it can be to have what you built used but never any feedback what so ever. Would be nice if public understood what we put into these products and services.
