Will there be moderation tools on the admin side? Edition, deletion, emptying of the room for example?

Will this be a good alternative to the Shoutbox plugin?

It doesn't replace shoutbox plugin but you don't need https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-plugin-global-chat anymore.

Shoutbox is still useful since it can be placed as a widget anywhere.

Added a online class and updated styling for the user list. It will also update when someone enters/leaves the room.

Nice! Will this sort of thing make a big difference to the amount of memory that ought to be allocated to the server?

It would be very nice if there were emoji reactions, like in Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, Skype, Google Chat, Discord, and basically any platform...

@BrotherGlaucon Memory usage will increase based on how many users are online in the room. I am not sure how much memory each socket.io room uses per user.

@baris The new group chats do not appear in the list of chats that opens from the chat icon at the top of the site/site side in harmony

Yes, the dropdown only displays private chats.

Added a new option to change the notification setting for chat rooms.

Administrators can change the room default from the manage room modal.
