Migrating to NodeBB from IP.Board 3.4.9

Hello,

I am rather surprised to find no official guide on how to migrate from another software (e.g., Xenforo, IPS, vBulletin) to NodeBB.

In my case I would like to know what could be the best way to convert an old IP.Board 3.4.9 forum to the latest version of NodeBB.
