Thanks for the quick reply.
Well, the modifications are small (mainly change in colors and fonts) but have to be applied to many classes. And the UI/UX guy who will make it is not familiar with NodeBB but is familiar with Bootstrap.
With this context in mind, do you still advice doing the changes as Custom CSS (I guess you mean using the option in the Admin panel) ?
Sorry, if my question may sound stupid but I have a short experience with NodeBB and mainly with the API part...
Unsolved Skin Switcher
Is it possible to add a skin switcher/toggle to the nav or even in nav-item drop-down?
@phenomlab this looks amazing! I was looking for a simple default/light or dark skin toggle but this is on another level. Concept is the same I think.
Would you mind sharing how you did it?
@Teemberland there is a dark and light mode switcher which is a native plugin - I think it's called
nodebb-plugin-dark-mode. However, the utility I wrote takes this much further and allows you to define your own themes etc.
The first iteration can be found here.
On sudonix itself, it's been rewritten to be more flexible and not require page reloads etc, but I haven't documented it yet.
Support for this is provided via sudonix directly.
@phenomlab This is perfect! Thank you so much!
@phenomlab I registered to your forum as I have a few questions about the switcher. Thanks!
@Teemberland no problems. I've just approved the registration.
