Hi I need help stying the preview block on hover in blockquotes. See screenshot below:

We are using the Slick theme. I need to change the background for the preview block if possible. Thanks!

The template used for the preview is here https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/blob/master/src/views/partials/topic/post-preview.tpl.
You can use #post-tooltip to style it.

No, as viewing IP addresses are a core part of the moderation experience. Global moderators can access the account info page, and category moderators can view IPs per post in categories they moderate.

This is needed to see if particular users are sockpuppets, or other malicious types of users.

We've had issues with this in our hosted service too... specifically, the IP used by one of our clients was used by a certain X-rated site 😞

In our case, we ended up blocking requests at the firewall level using ufw, although you could potentially also use nginx and block requests at the offending hostname...

A style element would go in Custom Header

However, as far as best practices, you should not use a style element and instead put the contents of the element into your Custom CSS
