@JGallardo thanks for the interest. We've just finished wrapping up a custom theme for @ecrotty, link coming up soon.
If there's a custom theme you'd like us to build, as @julian said above send us an email and we'll try and work something out
As for tutorials, I am planning on creating a few wiki pages as well as a blog post or two explaining the theme engine

Very impressed as always with both this site, and the example at OHFB.
PS, am writing this in Firefox, and the box or some sort've blue rectangle to the right of 'upload images by dragging and dropping them' is only showing the bottom half.
Oooh, I had to drag and resize the box I was typing in, the 'reply' was mostly hidden. I'm not sure if I did that accidentally without noticing it or if it started that way.
EDIT: Oh, it's the 'reply' box that's visible underneath this box I am typing on, I clicked it to get here. Looks weird half-hidden like that, I now understand it's a layer below but still a little weird placement once this box comes up..

Alright, i think i have something I can definitely pay you for!! If anyone's interested,
Craigslist has this great function. All posts are tagged with a location on a map. you can either select your current location or type one in.
The great part about this is you can now search for posts by location on a map. This makes finding people, events, and items for sale really easy.
It doesn't work too well on craigslist. Using a map inside of a frame of a browser window is messy because of all the keyboard shortcuts and mouse shortcuts it takes.
I'd like it if threads showed "distance" from current location.
This is something I'll never do on my own in a million years!
There's also many plugins similar to this idea for wordpress.

@psychobunny I'm very interested in a completely custom theme.
We have a site launching soon using nodebb. I'd like to have a "news" section on the front page and the forums listed as "community" similar to what you have here.We are a non-profit that raises funds for other non-profits as well as pretty much any good cause.
We have an "in-house" crypto currency that can be merge mined with Litecoin.
100% of our profits each month go to a worthy cause selected by our members. One thing we would really love to have is a polling feature.Tons of other little things I would like to see done as well. If you're interested please feel free to contact me.

Hello all.
I have been away, busy moving ugh, but I would like to use NodeBB for my community site at NE1UP. I have a couple problems. I need a technical-minded person to get me set up. Preferably someone who might like to work on building a fun forum together based on this software. That's first. I would be willing to pay for the dev team/person to, or an involved/adept community member. Preferably someone who wouldn't mind being on call - if anything goes wrong, um, I'm more marketing guy.
I actually have no other problem. I wanted to say, I like the idea @kevin had and would be willing to pay and help offset the cost since I too think that would be great for the community, also possibly my own site.
I would also be interested in helping out with any other really desired/cool plugins or even themes anyone might suggest in the future.
