There is this setting in ACP...

What is the difference between having "10" max active sessions or "25"? Does this affect the connection numbers of Nginx or ram usage? We would like to learn its effects on overall performance...

also, to clarify the terms... when a user opens 1 tab of the forum, does that mean only one active session or can it be multiple sessions?

I don't think it has any effect on performance. I believe it revokes old sessions if you login from more than 25 devices/browsers.

@crazycells A forum opened in multiple tabs will use the same session.

An incognito tab would be a new, separate, session.

    Separate browsers are separate sessions.
