Google Adsense on NODEBB

Hello everyone!
I have a NODEBB site with a nice amount of traffic (according to ACP data close to 100,000 a month, according to Google Analytics over 800 surfers a month), which I invest a lot of time in, and I wanted to add to the Google Adsense ads site.
What is the best way to do this?
I tried to add automated ad HTML code in ACP but it did not load normally.
My site goes through cloudflare if that matters.

In addition, I was told to "upload the ads.txt file to the root directory of the site. The root directory of the site is the directory or folder that appears after the top-level domain (example.com/ads.txt)."
How do I get it up there?
When I upload through the ACP it goes up to the
example.com/assets/uploads/ads.txtpath
