iframely plugin doesn't work...

you could host it by yourself

On the plugin page (your.site/admin/plugins/iframely), click where it says in purple box "Get API Key here." it brings you to a site, click Sign Up and Try (yellow box) fill in info and when logged in paste API key into box in Forum, no need to fill out anything else
but I think this is a free trial not sure

But even if you self host it, it's very easy to install and run.
There are just a few steps:

1. Download & Install Deps

git clone https://github.com/itteco/iframely.git
cd iframely
npm install

2. Create a basic config-File

cp config.local.js.SAMPLE config.local.js

3. Run the Server

node server

And you are ready to go.
After that you can configure caching and whatever. But the basic server is installed and running within 2 minutes.

@dunlix Self hosting works great but for some reason now youtube won't embed. Hopefully, someone knows how to get this fixed.

@torn2 I don't self-host yet so I wouldn't know how to help you. Maybe it is exempted in the plugin's settings page in the ACP?

No, it's been the same since we installed it a while ago. The only exemption is twitter because we use a different plugin for that one... as that one also stopped embedding a couple months ago.

YouTube not embedding just started happening and we haven't made any changes.

This is how it looks when someone embeds a YouTube link.
