post alignment issues since 1.16.2

I have noticed that there are some alignment issues with posts since upgrading to 1.16.2

Here is how it looks now:

You can see the user's avatar is only half visible

It happens for any category:

Seems like the 1st post in a thread is always cut off?

Is there a setting somewhere to fix this alignment?

The only thing in the custom css is:

.categories li div .title a{
    color: black;
}
