Restart community after plugin install

I have installed one plugin and it asks to restart the community after install. I am afraid to restart as I doubt it might result into some code break or such issues. Is it safe to restart? I am new to community management, prompt response will be highly appreciated.

Yes it's normally safe to restart. After installing and activating a plugin, make sure you do a "rebuild and restart".
