    There's no built in functionality to do this. There may be a plugin but I don't know of one.

    Thanks.. As an emergency I just removed the topic call (I suspected it was that) every post in the recent list went from a few hundred views to 1k+ in half a day. There aren't enough employees in my department for that many views :). I was only using it to show up votes.. I would have just used the rss feed if I could have but it's hardly includes any information.

    Subtracting from the view counts sounds doable..

    If you're in the EU, this wouldn't constitute as opt-in. The EU states that a user must specifically click a button that states "I want to receive these emails". Unless it's regarding their account. So, if the daily digest included notifications, it would be fine, but if it was just new topics, I'm not so sure. It should be fine either way, as you've said.

It works flawlessly. I can only imagine at this point its something with my server and I think I may just wipe it and start clean, using nginx only instead of apache.

    Edit - welp, it works great now. Probably has this whole time. The URL I was using to hit the forums was set to be x.x.132.x, it had to be x.x.135.x. Hey, at least I learned a TON about nodebb and nginx 🙂 I'll take it.
