...or is there a generator for this in the form of a plugin?

What does your "deployment" entail? The plugin list is stored in the database, so you should be able to restore that key if you wish.

I am writing a plugin. Can anybody pl. write the code pattern for this requirement of mine... When a logged in user enters some data, the backend should do the following in response: The user sends the data to the NodeBB backend in the following format: { key1: data-value1, key2: data-value2, ... } Get the user id of the user and check if the key1, key2, etc. already exists in the Mongo DB (the user's collection/document) If yes, overwrite the data If not, store the data Tell the client that the action has been taken Actually, it is quite simple if you're writing an app from the scratch. What I am looking for is the pattern/way the NodeBB is currently handling this scenario and I want to code using the same pattern. Thanks

Now that I think about it the widget might not be that difficult, it will just make a call to get the widget data and display it along with some code to let users vote and a link to the actual topic where the poll is located. So most of the code that is already in the plugin can be utilized for the widget. The widget would need a pollId setting in the ACP>widgets to let you display a poll.

@julian thanks a lot! And for the second question, is there any way to do it? Thanks again. EDIT (just to clarify, in order to be helpfull for anyone in the future): Since my image, didn't had the data-state="unloaded" (in fact id didn't have the data-state at all on the img tag) i had to first, use posts.unloadImages(post); an then posts.loadImages(); to get the image loaded. That's because posts.loadImages() only searches for data-state="unloaded", posts.unloadImages. gets all images in the post provided without the class .not-reponsive and puts the data-state="unloaded" in each img tag.
