HTTPS with External Let's Encrypt Certificate

Good Evening All,

I know there are a few different "Tutorials" available on the community to SSL setup with Nodebb but I could REALLY use some help with getting it setup ASAP.

My main problem as that I have my Let's Encrypt Certificates hosted externally with my hosting site and I'm not sure how to link to the certificates through the NGINX edits mentioned elsewhere.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Can you give a more thorough explanation of your hosting situation?

Normally, certificates are on the same machine as nginx, otherwise, Chain of Trust is broken.

@yariplus Hosting is with a shared hosting service and nodebb is setup on Digital Ocean.

You just request a new cert on your NodeBB instance.

Yep. From what I read, there's no way to get the cert off the shared host, however, there is no problem getting a new cert from the DO server.
