Hi, i just convert my database in JSON files, how i can import it on my NodeBB installation.

You'll want to build an exporter that will work with nodebb-plugin-import: https://github.com/akhoury/nodebb-plugin-import/blob/master/write-my-own-exporter.md

We will be dropping support for nodejs 14.x in nodebb 3.x.

Nodejs 14 will be out of maintenance in april 2023 and some of our dependencies no longer support it.

Hooray for forward-thinking 🙂

Initially, we kicked around the idea of supporting multiple categories per topic (so, more like a "tagging" approach, as opposed to categories).

In the end, we felt that having a "middle-ground" between statically defined categories and user-defined tags was not a proper compromise (since it ended up not being greater than the sum of its parts), so we stuck with static categories.

A tagging plugin can be built, of course........
