Embedded Media Not Working After 0.4.1 Update

    Imgur and YouTube plugins that I have checked are not working now. The link shows up in the posts but the media does not. There are warnings that the version may not be compatible, but I don't believe that newer versions are available and I believe that these plugins are working elsewhere. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    I knew that if I posted a question I'd immediately find the answer. We had removed the Markdown plugin due to warnings in the logs just to be safe and had not added it back in yet. Once we put that back, bam, images are back. Thanks!

    SSL version works . I'm having probs editing user profiles. I did make it private but I can't even edit my own admin profile to change the email atm

    any1 know how this is easily remedied ?

    @julian thanks. I can login as admin now after git pull today.

    I understand the sub-category is still working in progress. I am just wondering
    how it will looks like: for example: I have category hierarchy like: US --> California --> SF Bay area; and US --> California --> San Diego area.

    when user navigate to California category page, will the user see all the subcategories link list (like "SF Bay area", and "San Diego area") , and also see the posts to "Californa" category ?

    when user do a new post, when user select categories, will the drop-down menu show some tree-like hierarchy to allow user select a specific sub-category?

    seems it introduces a lot of complexity to the code base. we really appreciate you guys' great work to make this feature working.

    That warning means that someone is running a very old version of NodeBB's client side code (and simply hasn't refreshed, or hasn't cleared their browser cache). So not to worry 🙂

    0.0.12 and 0.0.11 should be fine, but he says he isn't able to activate the plugin. Are you seeing any messages in the server console when you click activate?
