Integrate NodeBB into existing MEAN/Angular 2 website

I have an existing business sales website built using Angular 2 / MEAN running as a single page app. The business has a separate NodeBB instance running under a different URL.

I'd like to integrate the NodeBB app directly into the MEAN app. Does NodeBB support that and are there any resources / documentation available to help guide me through the integration?
