Is there any anti spam plugin or something

Hello,
I loved this forum script, but I want to know something that is there any plugin or anything to stop spammers ?
Now I guess i'll not be able to use any other script.
Everything looks great here.

thanks @attri we are looking at antispam solutions such as askismet and similar alternatives. until we get popular enough we won't have to seriously worry about a bot being created to spam nodebb forums, but this is definitely a priority after we get v0.1 out of the way!

True, but bots are something I have often wondered about how to prevent.

Certianly we should be able to use existing blacklist solutions too via a plugin yeah? Eg a plugin on register to check a list of ip address pulled in from w/e service. Simple to do with cronjob and a query in redis/mongo

Hey @LiamMitchell -- offhand, I don't know any IP blacklists, although it would be pretty simple to implement (either in core or as a plugin).

Did you have a particular blacklist in mind?

I hope you can integrate it asap, as the spammer are a big problem for my sites
