I see that all categories are watched by default on NodeBB. Is there a way to disable this setting such that I only get notifications for the categories I watch myself.
@baris So the _key is as you described, the value is the user id, and the score is the watch state?
That's correct, and the records do not exist until a user explicitly changes the setting on the category page. Until they change it the default from the ACP is used.
Turned out systemd could not write redis' pid file, hence the crashes/restarts.
The missing category is probably a result of that.
Reinstalled and everything is fine.
