Anyway to reflesh the forum page on clicking the login button on menu

I need to let our home page to be routed using http schema, but /login and afterwards using https. So I need to reflesh the whole forum instead of partial update on clicking the login button. like forum.qt.io does.

Is there any way to do that? Which way is the best?
