Hello, I apologise the questions I may ask are newbie questions but I'm completely new to NodeBB. I'm wondering if the software is free if yes where can I get the full package download from, also I'll need to know If I can upload the files straight away to my web host through FTP or do I have to do something before I upload the files.

I've been using other forum softwares for years and now I'd like to try something new which is NodeBB.

Yes. Nodebb is completely free and open source . Like you I am also new to nodebb. It's good. Yet to discover it's full potential. I am using digital ocean server . I downloaded it there . If your server allow you can can upload it via FTP .

Guys I still can't figure out how to do this like install the whole thing.
