What's the best way to put stickers on a laptop in such a way that they're removable en mass?
I used to have a plastic shell for my MacBook. I stuck stickers to the shell and, once I gave back the laptop, I could keep the stickers framed on my wall.
My new @frameworkcomputer doesn't have a shell (that I can find).
Is there something I can stick to the lid which can be removed in a non-destructive way? Then I can stick stickers to the sticker! -
@Edent
Dbrand skin with stickers on top? https://dbrand.com/shop/devices/framework-skins
@frameworkcomputer -
@solarisfire That might be the way to go. Thanks!

@Edent @frameworkcomputer clingfilm
-
@alastairs Hmm… How well does that stay attached to a laptop in your experience?
-
@Edent @frameworkcomputer my trick is to get a large skin (like Dbrand) as a base sticker and then put stickers on top of that. Then you can peel of one large sticker with decent adhesive.

FFS!
I wish companies like this would have an option to buy a packet of Scotch Mist for 10¢ so I could get the free shipping.

@Edent I get that folks have to make their shop items $X9.90 to appeal to our primal love of nines. And also that selling things to people that they don't need is a game and an art... but customer satisfaction here would be to make shipping free for $59+ #WhenIRunTheWorld

@alphasixtyfive yup!
-
@alphasixtyfive if you know of someone else selling skins for the Framework 16, I'm all ears.

@[email protected] well, if that was your concern then let me assuage your fear by telling you that you won't need to sell or give away the laptop because if you need an upgrade you can just upgrade the internals and keep the shell!
