Not good news re whooping cough: all adults should check they’ve had a booster (needed every 10 years and now usually done with tetanus). Having trouble searching for this: does anyone know if there is such a thing as a "generic" ActivityPub backend that can be tied to multiple frontends somehow? Ie. can I run Mastodon (or something micro-blogging-like) and Bookwyrm (or something else, I'm sure Bookwyrm doesn't support this but it's just an example) while having both post as if they were @sam at social.coop? I feel like somebody has to have made a backend for this that other frontends can tie into and publish their own objects

@eniko Did you see their announcement about selling profile cosmetics, like Discord? I think that'll do more for them than the Namecheap referral thing they've had going on, but I do wonder if they really expect it to cover costs.
