@Lichtenbergian Thank you for sharing. Same here: it was yanked immediately, and I got that same message, which is such lying and trolling on the part of FB. Their bottom line is clearly that we're all supposed to pretend and make nice because Trump voters get their feelings hurt. Which tells you who has the upper hand in their organization and thinking. I'd leave Facebook in a heartbeat if I didn't use it to keep up with a wide circle of family and friends, and to host a family history group.

@wdlindsy Medicare, social security, & the ACA are at risk. They voted for death for millions.
Also, love that Jesse Watters' mom disinvited him. -

@Nazani Yes — and love that Watters' mom disinvited him, too.

@lyndamerry484 Yes, I think often of those parallels. I read something yesterday about the still unacknowledged damage the self-inflicted wound of Brexit is doing to the UK economy.

@tofugolem Yes. Self-serving mythology divorced from historical fact.

@InvincibleSugar The problem, though, is that the choices many of us have made have now complexified the notion of family for a whole lot of us.

@toxtethogrady @zuck Absolutely. I truly have nothing but contempt for Zuckerberg and the tech-bro aristocracy.
-
@brucetheknife I would do the same myself if it were not one tenuous way I can stay in touch with a wide circle of friends and relatives — and also I host a family history group there.

@xankarn The absolutely insulting and mendacious explanation that it was "spam."

William Lindsey :toad:replied to Canevecchio on last edited by
@Canevecchio I like that term, a German word I hadn't known, but can puzzle out by putting its pieces together in my hand. "Family of choice" we often say, contrasting it with family of origin. Yes, one can choose and build family and in the process, distance oneself from abusive families of origin. For many of us, this has long been a cecessity.
