@ljpuk Classic! I was just looking at those, and also noticed the 5600... I like the variety of colors available.

@andycarolan 5600 has cooler colors where the 5610 won for me was in comfort and functionality. The 5610 is a little smaller so more comfortable for me. It also has solar and sync'd via radio signals each night around 2am with the latest time. It depends on what you what really. I like the more colorful 5600 but for comfort it's the 5610.

@ljpuk that's interesting about the sizing, I tend to go for smaller watches too. Too big and I will hit it on every door frame that I walk through lol.

@andycarolan G-Shock will take a door no problem, if you get a chance to go to a store to try both on I would recommend doing that. If you aren't set on a G-Shock go F-91w to see how it feels going back old school.

@ljpuk Thanks for the info! Oh yes, I gather the F91w has quite a dedicated following. Very good value too !

@andycarolan TBH the sport loop bands for the apple watch are super super nice. And thereβs plenty of times you can get them on clearance at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. Iβve scored plenty for $16, brand new.
-
@andycarolan I have moved to (well, kind of) to Polar Vantage V3.

@Aaron I have the normal silicon bands for mine. they are nice. Not tried the loop though.
-
@ornaled Awesome! Probably somewhat overkill for my level of activity lol.
-
@andycarolan yeah, itβs definitely more of a sportwatch than smartwatch, but at the same time itβs incredibly refreshing in how minimalistic it is compared to something like Garmins.
-
@ornaled There's certainly a lot of choice now with smart/sports watches. Can I ask what the charging cycle is like?
-
@andycarolan I think with my use (about 5 40-minutes trainings in a week and with raise-to-wake screen) I charge it once a week.
If you want something with badass battery Garmin Enduro 3 is like power bank. You get something of a month on one charge. -
@ornaled Well, that's much better than the every-night recharge that my Apple watch needs lol
-
@andycarolan one of the good things about sport watches β battery
-
@andycarolan @jorijn You can get Swatch watches with silicone straps
-
@Pam_Nashes Ooh that's interesting. Thanks! I will take a look
